My Fiance had such a great experience at the Embassy in Baghdad. The Consular who interviewed him was very nice and didn't ask a lot of stupid questions but questions of relevance. At the end of the interview he told my fiance' "I want to approve this now but I need the documents that are missing" My fiancé had some trouble getting his letter of no conviction but had the receipt that it was in the works, and even though I sent tax transcripts they wanted w-2s. Any way Long story short. The consular told him that as soon as they got our documents he would approve everything, which I think has been done because the dates have changed on the status page but not the actual status. I am guessing he should have his passport back in a couple of weeks and will be on his way here. ![](smile.gif)
