Everything went smoothly. He said everyone was nice especially the lovely African American woman who has now become somewhat of a visa celebrity.
He mentioned that they were only concerned with the things they ask for on the sheet accompanying the interview letter they sent. Extras are always good but they did not even look at them.
They asked him questions about how we met and when we got together and also if he was ever denied a visa or ESTA. He had been: Our honeymoon cruise docked in Florida, and they denied him a visa for lack of substantial ties to the UK. Also, ESTA was denied 3 years later when we were going to visit family because of visa denial.
