Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

Alhumdullilah the interview went well. After the interview he got the dreaded AP (Administrative processing)on a green slip and they told him it will take 3-4 months to get his visa. The questions he was asked were the following:

- what is your wifes name?
-who is calling you to the US?
-what is your wifes job?
-where does she work?
- who does she live with? Name all members
- where will you live when you go there?

Then they asked for pictures which my husband gave them an album of. That was it. Then they gave my hubby the green slip that said AP. I've read some reviews on people who got AP after the interview and have been very let down seeing as that means more processing time and more waiting and this whole process is waiting. It's very hard and it just gave me something more to stress about but...

---6 days after the interview, after checking the status on this website ceac.state.gov/ceac I saw the case updated and went from AP to ISSUED and it stated my husband will be getting his visa in a few days and that it was printed. Alhumdullilah! you guys please don't lose hope. I know what a long and stressful process this whole visa case can be but remember don't lose faith in Allah (swt) make duah every day and remember there is a time set for everything. You all are in my duahs. InshaAllah you are all reunited with your loved ones soon. Don't lose hope!
