The interview was for my CR-1 Visa and my 18 year old’s CR-2 Visa.
We followed the map and advice on the thread by Saylin. Arrived early (first in line), sat near the elevator, stood at the back facing the rear door on the left, got in line for the cashier as instructed and got the coveted C1 ticket.
At the first window we had to provide the originals that were on the letter from the Embassy. They did not want any copies of anything and in fact gave me the NVC printouts (of our scans) as she put the original of that item on the file. She seemed a little flustered by some of the paperwork and hubby having a change of address but it went fairly smooth.
At the actual interview it was me, my teen & my hubby. He asked a few of the normal questions about our relationship and then asked me about my being in the military. I told him my release date and he asked what I was going to do now. We said that all depended on what he decided. He did a bit more typing asked teen some questions about what she did etc. Then he handed us a paper and said congratulations you have been granted your visa.
