Stayed at Traveloge Hotel on 50 Boul Rene-Levesque, a few minutes walk to the consulate. Arrived at the consulate at 0640AM but I was the only person inline so I returned back to my hotel and relax for a few minutes, enjoy the morning coffee and breakfast in the hotel. When I return at 7:30AM the place was almost packed and people started going in. Thankfully many of them are carrying bags, laptops and some don't have the proper paper work with them (loomis etc). I read the details of how they operate and what they need so I was ready, Thanks to VJ, I also know the tricks. I sat close to the elevator so I was the first to get in and the first to get out when it reached the 14th floor. Again Thanks to VJ I went straight to the cashier and ended up getting the famous C-1. After this it was pretty much quick, less than a minute after taking C1, called to the window who checked the paper work for about 5 min including the finger prints. When I was about to sit and wait again I got called the interviewer within 2 min. Just a couple of question and the common one mentioned in this forum, where did you meet, what do you do, and CO said am approving your visa, yay. That's it, I'm really happy we have such a forum here where we can learn every step. It helps a lot and I recommend to every one to read the steps carefully and follow. The same day I got an e-mail from the loomis service that my passport was transferred from the embassy. The next day I picked up my passport and package, IR1, relived.
