I arrived shortly before 7 and was third in line. It was a little chilly out, but thankfully not as bad as it could have been. The guard opened the door at 7:30 and started letting us in one by one (fairly rapidly). A lady on the left took the passport, loomis confirmation and the appointment confirmation; after checking those and writing numbers on the back of my passport, she handed them back to me. She also gave us a medical appointment satisfaction survey that we had to fill out to hand in later. I then went up a short set of stairs and went deposited all my belonging in a tray to be scanned; it\'s pretty much exactly like an airport security scanner.
After that, we went to the left, down some stairs and into a room with lots of chairs. Just head to the back left corner and you will see the elevator there. The elevator opened at 8am. Upstairs we were met by a lady who directed us to go stand in front of the Number 14 counter. I got C2. Then you go sit down and wait for your number to get called to one of the windows (#1-4).
At the window, just give them all the papers as they request them. They take your fingerprints and verify that all your info on the account is up to date. Then you g sit down and wait to get called to your interview.
I got called to Window 9. I got asked the following questions:
- What is your fiancee\'s name?
- Have you lived in Canada your whole life?
- Where in the States do you intend to live?
- When did you meet?
- Where did you meet?
- A quick summary of the relationship progression
- When did you decide to get married?
- How often do you see each other?
Then I got the long-awaited words of \"I\'m approving your visa!\"
I exited the same way I came in.
To all those reading this in anticipation of your interview, I want to add that it was SO EASY and SIMPLE that I'm having a hard time believing that I actually went through it!
