First and foremost I would like to thank God for the wonderful blessing he showered my husband and I on March 14, 2013 as well and the other couples that where there that day! All Glory goes to YOU!!
We arrived to the embassy at about 6:45am our interview was for 8:30am, of course the famous buscones literally threw themself at us once we got out of the car, and nicely we said NO THANKS!! We don’t need no help, we have everything under control... But that didn’t work... They are major hustler’s LOL... There were a few people that got ripped off by them and some even went back with cops to get there monies back... LOL...
Fast forward there was a pretty big line once we got there and we got ticket # 158. Once in line we chuckled a few times and spoke with some other couples waiting in line, at about 7:30 they where letting people in, guys on the left girls on the right.
We got in sat in the famous benches yes they where kind of back killing, but over all the wait was the worst part about the whole thing, At about 8ish we where called to window 17 to hand in Banco popular receipt, papel de buena conducta, and passport. Then he was told to go to window 18 for finger prints, and then we were told to sit down they will call us shortly for the interview. At about 1 ½ later we where called to window 19 a nice blond lady greeted us, and sword us in, she asked if I spoke English, I reply YES, and then she asked the following question

When did you guys meet?
To MY HUSBAND
Have you ever had problems with the law?
Have you ever been to the USA?
TO ME
How many time have you been here?
Then she said the words I WE were dying to hear!!!! “EN ESTE MOMENTO ESTOY APROVANDO SU VISA”!! Take this little green ticket to the lower level and go pay DOMEX. Congratulations.
It was less then 3 min, she really didn’t ask for much pictures, I showed her some loose photos, and an album which she really loved, and that was about it.
Over all the experience wasn’t as bad, we managed to laugh our way through the wait. I must say the wait is HORRIBLE and nerve racking but the outcome is well WORTH IT!!!
