Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

I am very thankful to God for his blessings this morning. I am thankful to my VJ family for the emotional support, words of wisdom, testimonies and additional advice I have been given during this process.
I recommend to anyone doing this process to front load your application with as much information as possible that proves your relationship. I believe that this was one of the key factors to being approved. Be prepared and discuss everything with our spouse or fiancee including the day- to- day happenings in your life. You never know what the CO may ask and how one question may lead to another. However, we think that the Embassy already knows if the visa is approved before the interview and that the interview is just a formality and at times it seems like a test.
I spoke to my husband last night (my time) before he got dressed and then he text me when he arrived at the embassy. That made me feel a little more calm knowing that he did not over sleep (did not sleep at all LOL) and that he arrived at the Embassy a little after 6 am for his interview at 7 am. My husband was to excited when called me after his interview that he could barely speak the words so that I could understand all he was trying to say to me. He said that there were two ladies conducting interviews this morning. Initially the white lady called him to the window and asked him a few questions. She asked him who petitioned for you, when where you married and the city we were married in? Then she had my husband sit back down. After some time had passed about 40 minutes. The black lady this time called my husband to the window again and asked my husband more questions. This portion of the interview lasted about 30 minutes.
She asked the following questions.
Who petitioned for you?
Where do she live?
How did you meet? …He answered that we met online
Was it a social or dating site?
What is the name of the website?
When did this happen?
Where did you get married?
How many times have you seen your wife?
When was the last time you seen her? NOTE: I had already frontloaed the application with photos and airline interiaries, hotel receipts from every visit.
How many times has your wife been to Nigeria?
How do you communicate and how often?
The CO asked if he had additional emails and/or chats? He gave her the binder that I had sent to him that included recent emails/chats and copies of phone cards since the I-130 had been sent (Januray 2012 to December 2012). The CO also looked at the picutres I had include. She reviewed them for several minutes and then asked more questions.
Where was the picture taken?...my husband answered South Africa
Do you like visitng there and why?
Who is D?....my husband answered it was his brother
Who is K? …my wife’s friend
Who is A? my husband answered it was his step-daughter
What does your wife like to do?..... Travel and go to the movie theater
What kind of movies does she like?....Action
What was the name of the last movie she saw? He told the CO that he did not know the name of the movie I had seen. (Now that I think about it, I don’t think I told my husband…by the way it was Django unchained..which I saw on xmas day).
What did your wife do for xmas?
Do we have any cultural differences?
Do we have any other issues in our marriage?... my husband answered no other than my wife's recent health.
What kind of health issues? Note: I also included for my husband a copy of the doctors report explainng my health issue and treatment just in case this questions was asked.
Tell me about her medical care?

Finally after 30 minutes the CO told my husband he will be issued a visa and to pick it up next week.
Thankful and Grateful. AMEN
