Caught a 5:43am train from my local station. Got into London Eustob just before 8 am. Got the tube to bond street and walked to the Embassy from there. Got outside to queue up around 8:20am. Got into the main building at 8:49am so only 30 mins of waiting outside. Went to reception and they gave me my number (I919) and then I went up into the waiting room. I think it must have been around 11:45ish when they first called my number.
First time I got called up was basically to hand in all my documents like my birth cert, police cert, the affidavit of support and the evidence, photo's for the visa and also scanned my fingerprints. The guy didnt really talk much apart from telling me what to do/give him and just asking when I would be flying so I said hopefully in 2 weeks time. He gave me a CD that has my chest x-ray on it from the medical and also form to fill out (for the courier to arrange delivery) so after 10 mins with him, went and sat back down in the waiting room and filled out the delivery form. About 20 mins? later I got called back up for my interview.
This is the jist of what I got asked:
How did you and Tyler meet?
What game did you play? and what is it about/what do you do on it?
Shown me some photographs and asked me who was in them and/or where we were in the pictures.
How many visits have you had with each other and when was the last time you have seen Tyler?
What does Tyler do and how long has he had the job?
What do you do?
What did Tyler do for 6 months in England and where did he stay?
Where does Tyler live and who with?
And then asked about his family (also having a step mom as well as a mom and how that came about)
After he was satisfied with my answers, he typed a lil bit on his computer and then said my visa was approved and sent me away to go pay the courier for visa delivery. I went and did that (paid £14.80 for standard delivery - between 8am-6pm). Told me it'd be about 5 working days and how to track it online and also told me about the "Not to open" package which is to be handed in at immigration. Then after that I left and finally got out to my poor dad waiting outside in the cold and wet weather at 12:25pm.
