London, United Kingdom Review on October 11, 2012:

Cori and Rob

Review Topic: K1 Visa

Queue was huge and took a long time. Arrived at 8, finally got in at 9:08. The reason the queue took so long is many people still had phones and electronic devices. Some got sent away to store their phones, and came back later and still had iPads and kindles. And there was a long delay caused by some guy in an electric wheelchair who showed up without photo ID, and they stopped everything for half an hour just to process him and take him through security.

Anyway, after I got in the whole process didn't take long. I was waiting maybe half an hour for my first call, and then about ten or fifteen minutes for my second call. They only wanted my passport, birth cert, police cert, affidavit of support, one of Cori's pay slips, and a passport photo. The interview questions were all standard. Where/when/how we met, where Cori works, what I do, if I intend to get a job, what our plans are, where I'm going to live. The guy was real friendly and cheerful too.

Anyways, I got out at 10:25, got my phone, subway'd back to paddington and caught an 11am train back.

Oh, and I paid for the visa courier service too, and it should be sent within 3 or 4 days and delivered on the next working day
