Stayed at the IBIS Consulado, very nice clean friendly and very very very close to everything THE CONSULATE IS BEHIND US
We did the ASC in Merida to save time in Juarez, plus we heard that if you have tatoos you will undero a Pschy Eval and your results wont be in untill tomorrow at 10:00 AM luckly this did not happen
She showed up at the Clinica Internacional @ 5:15 AM and it was full so they sent her to the other clinic called Clinica Servicios Medicos, she was in by 5:30 AM they ask for her papers they pass you to take a picture and place you a bracelet in your hand and by 6:00 AM they called her up to a window to fill out some paperwork (name, birthday, address in the USA) turn that in.
After she is sent to a waiting room for the X-RAYs, then they draw blood, followed by the physical which consist of measurements, weight and eye check.
After that you go to a personal room where you undress (undreware only) and the Doctor comes in to check your heart, ears, lungs, blood pressure, abdomen check.
Get dressed go back to the window, check your little bracalet the they tell you how many vaccinations to take.
You go to have them applied (my wife had 3 applied)
After that you have sit and wait 10 minutes to wait for any reacctions to the vaccines
Then you pay!! We paid $370.90 (~5,200 Pesos)
Arrived to the Consulate Waiting Room at 6:25, 6:45 done passing the security checkpoints we had Ticket #5062, meaning we had 62 persons ahead of us, females waited in a waiting room inside the consulate and the men wait outside.
Around 8:00 her number showed up in the screens, turned in AOS Package, then was seated again (in the AOS they asked for the co-sponsors passport photocopy--which we did not have OUCH!!) 9:04 the number showed up again and at 9:05 the interview started.
The questions where:
- who is petitioning?
- when where and how did we meet?
- how many times did I visit?
- did I live in Merida?
- where did I work?
- asked for pictures of us together
Congratulations Visa Approved
9:07 the interview was over and she had a big smile on her face
