My interview was scheduled for today at 9am. I usually get extremely anxious with things like this, and so, I arrived in London at 7am. It took me a while, but I found Gould's Pharmacy and paid £3 for them to keep my phone.
I then found the embassy and waited in line, where a woman checked my MRV payment receipt, and interview letter. Because it was so early, there were very few people there. At 7:30am they started letting people into the second queue and checked passports. We were allowed into the security room 4 people at a time. Nothing major, just put my bag on the belt and walked through the metal detector, like at an airport. The man there wished me good luck and I was out the door.
I followed the path round the side and got to the door, where I was asked again to show my appointment letter. She stuck a number on it and told me to wait in the waiting room. I was only sitting for about 15 minutes when they called my number. (7:50am)
I went to the desk, where there was a man who wanted my documents. He just asked for birth certificate, police certificate and affidavit of support with any supporting documents, took my finger prints and photo, gave me a form to fill out for the courier and told me to be seated again. That took about 5 minutes, After waiting another 15 minutes or so (8:10am), my number was called again and I went to a different desk. The woman seemed lovely.
She then proceeded to ask me questions:
"So, you are applying for a K1 visa?"
"How did you meet?"
"How old was he when you met him?"
"When did you first meet in person?"
"How many times have you been to see him?"
"Has he ever come here to visit? Why not"
"You're quite young, how do you know he is the one?"
"What do you love about him?"
"But there must be some things you dislike?"
"So, he was medically retired from the military?" "Why?"
"So do you have a thing for army guys then? Is it the uniform?"  
"Have you got any wedding plans?"
"May I see them?"
- handed over wedding plans (officiant contract, venue receipt, photo of dress etc)
"Lovely photo of the dress. Very exciting, is it a hotel? Ah ok."
"Do you have a ring?" "That's lovely"
"Thank You, your visa has been approved"
This only took about 10 minutes.
And that was it!!! She didn't ask to see any proof of relationship, she didn't even want to see my fiancé's original divorce papers which I went to a lot of trouble to get!!
I paid the courier fee, which I think was 13 maybe 14 pounds (which you are supposed to pay by card... or they wont give you change) and gave in the courier form to the desk and left. I finished the whole thing by about 8:30!!! Half an hour before I was due to have my interview!
Fantastic day, couldn't be happier. And back in time to watch the olympic freestyle dressage!  :D
