Arrived at the embasy at about 4:48 am. The buscones came all running at once toward us trying to get money from us saying that the 2x2 picture needs to be stapled to the DS-230 and if we didnt our case would not be approved and they could do it for 1,000 pesos..lol. I let them know that we were ok with our stuff. We were like the 5th couple in line. Around 6:15 the people with the word INFO on their shirts came out asking for our interview letters and handing out ticket numbers. We got the infamous # 667. They seperated the females and the male for security check in. There was a lady that cut in front of me while we were outside saying that her husband was inside already and I told her she had cut in front of me and my husband was 4 places in front of her husband...but she just ignored me which aggrivated me very much. We were in by 6:45ish. We get called to window 23 to deposit our documents and there was the girl who cut infront of me...she did it again!!! Luckily my hubby calmed me down. So then we go up to the window and there was a nice lady who asked us a few questions...Do you have kids in common, how old are you, date of birth...basic stuff...she was writing down everything. This was about 8:30 am. Then the waiting time began. At about 9:15 were called to window 13 for fingerprints. Around close to 10:30 am we were called to window 22. The CO was a very nice gringo (white as snow, blue eyes, seemed to be about 6 ft tall, and skinny). He swore us in and started the questioning in spanish (both together).
When and how you met? I answered in english
When were you born? I answered in english
When we got married? I answered in english
Do you have kids together? I answered
Do you have kids outside the marriage? I answered
How many? hubby answered
Names? hubby answered
How old? hubby answered

The CO put a face as if sceptical of something and asked me if I was ever married to the father of my youngest (he was 1yr and a half at the time)
I said no...he asked "Never?" Again I said No!

I noticed the famous green ticket attached to our folder so I thought we were going to be approved. The CO said "I see you have pictures let me see them." I asked wich album because I had 3. he said whick ever so I showed him our wedding photo book I created. I flipped the pages and he did not stop me or ask anything. He then said to have a seat that we would be called again. So another wait at about 12:30ish we were called to window 11 and of course my hubby was in the line to buy me lunch cuz I was starving. So we go and out came this little Dominican guy. He told my husband to go in first. I asked if he was going to need anydocuments cuz I had them all and he said no with the meanest face.
My hubby told me that as they were going into the room he said this "Pero ven aka..y porke es ke usted estan haciendo eso?? O tu no save ke a ella le pueden meter una multa de 250,000 dolares y hasta 5 ano de carcel!!! Dile a tu hermanso ke se ahorre su chelito!! I met my husband thru one of his brothers so he thinks he paid me to get married to my husband to bring him to the US. My hubby said that he is not doing anything wrong

Then I was called in....I was soooooooo nervouse I am always afraid of the unknown.
First he told me with much irony behind his voice "Tu te acuerdas cuando tu empesaste este proceso que firmaste un papel donde dice ke si es encontrado con fraude te tan una multa de 250,000 mil dolares...y no tan solo eso, si no te pueden dar hast 5 anos de carcel?? te acuerdas? I said yes. So he said "Ke bien!" with irony.
These were my questions:
my age?
date of birth?
my hubby age? when I answered he said in such a rude way "Eso si te lo sabe tu eh!!" how am I not suppose to know if he is my husband?
My kids names, age and date of birth and name of fathers and who were they?
my parents name? when I told him my moms name he said "no, no, no...tu mama se llama asi por tu papa...pero como se llama ella antes?" If the idiot would have asked for my moms maiden name then thats what I would have provided but he asked for her name (in present tense) and thats what I did!! So I told him my moms name and he said "AAAA Ahore si...tu tienes ke conoser a tus raices!" Was this jerk for real?? I didnt say nothing with fear that he would deny my husbands visa.
then he said that this was the hard part now
what was the 1st gift he gave me? I couldnt remember and I told him that and he said "has memoria...mira ver!"
last gift? we answered slightly different to this question
wedding date?
how I met his brother and where? he asked for me to explain all this
if his brothers are married? how they are in the US?
did we have sex last night?
were lights on/off?
who took shower first if we even had a chance to shower?
did we watch tv?
last gift I gave him? we ansered aslightly different
When did I first have sex with my hubby? when I answered he said.."COMO?? tan rapido!! y todo lo tuyo es asi de rapido??" I found this to be extremely disrespectful.
where did we go?
name of hotel?
Who paid the wedding? How much?
were gowns bought or rent? How much? I said about 192 dollars he said 8,000 pesos (the dollar was at 37 pesos at that time).
was there a reception?
how much was cake and who paid? we answered differnet in the price but I did say my hubby paid and that I think it was the price I said.
who paid for rings?
names of the 2 witness? who are they?
name his job?
hours of work?
how I gave birth?
has he ever sent me anything?

He then asked me to let him see my binder folder. It took me weeks to organize this. I had a tab for my flight recepits, hotel receipts, phone bill, wester union bills, dinner receipts etc. He opened the binder and just read off the tabs saying" mira, mira, mira, dike flight receipts, hotel receipts...ay mi madre esto es increible..oye tu ta segura ke tu nunca has pedido a nadie??" i said " No nunca esta es la primera vez." So he said " No te lo puedo creer porke tu deberias ser una profesional!!!" I told him I was a professional..I have education and I am an organzed person.
He then looked at my wedding album. This man started laughing his lung out while flipping the pages. He said "Ay mi madre mira ke monteje!! Mira esto pero yo no lo puede creer!!" and laughed and laughed. then he asked to see my photo album of when we went to a resort. I told him that I have a receipt as proof that I went there. he said "Me imagino ke si!! Porke tu estas preparada para todo!!"
At this point I was so upset and distraught...I knew we were not going to be approved because no matter what I had this jerk was not going to look. I had pictures of my family having dinner at his house. him and my kids, phone records that show that we speak every single day b4 I go to work and at about 9:30 pm for like almost 2 hours, my phone bill invoice totaling 1,400 and highlighted the calls and txt, money I sent to him thru western union, my hotel reservation for our honeymoon and pictures of us still with our gowns on at the hotel, recepits of everything I have bought for him, my wedding decorations, personalized flutes and cake knife with our name and date of marriage, my 7 flight itnerary plus copies of each page of my passport.
We were questioned twice...first him then me, then him again then me. He said "hubieron cosas ke contestaron diferentes pero mucho las contestaron bien, se ve ke ensallaron ustedes eh!!!"
He then said he was going to take my case to his boss and see if he would approve it (with sarcasm)
His last words were...Tu eres demasiada perfecta! and I said "no, el unico perfecto es Dios!" he said "tu ve....en eso si estamos de acuerdo tu y yo...en eso si!" So I said before closing the door.."You have urself a nice day and God bless you"
about 15 minutes later after this horrific nightmare we were called to window 22 again. The gringo said "No podemos darle una visa en este momento..le van a llegar una carta en 2 semanas." I cut him short and said please explain this to me in english..he said the words I feared so much to hear. Your visa has been denied u will receive a letter...I cut him short again cuz I was very upset already and asked y? he said we beleive ur marriage was entered for the purpose of obtaining a visa. I got mad and told him to take me to any clinic they please and have me tested and see whos sperm they would find in my vagina (I went overboard here but I was exremely upset). that I was an american citizen and they just couldnt do that to me. The CO just said that I would receive a letter in 2 weeks stating the next step I had to take. I left the place in shock..my poor hubby was tring to stay calm so I wouldnt get worse. When we were out of the embassy I cried so much and couldnt beleive what had just happened.
Overall the treatment I received was just atrotious and no human being should ever have to go through this unless you have proof of a fraud wich they dont have and never will find cuz guess what??? I married my husband because I LOVE HIM AND HE LOVES ME!! Unfortunately there isnt a negative rate here because thats what I would have chosen.
