Tampa was a very stress free and easy Port of Entry. A long and unfortunate chain of events led to me putting my immigration package inside one of my checked bags by mistake which also led to me fretting that I would most likely be insome serious trouble as the package clearly said "Do not put inside checked luggage" however, luckily the way the international terminal is set up at Tampa, the luggage carousel is literally right behind the immigration officer's desks and I expressed the situation to the officer as best I could and was very much relieved to find out that it was a big deal especially as my bag was coming around at the same time and I pointed it out. It coincidentally was the first time apparently that, that particular IO had a K-1 case so he was incredibly nice and the entire process lasted only about 35mins since I got to the desk. After I had gotten permission to get the document, we sat down for a little, then got invited into secondary where I only waited for little and then I was handed my I-94 which had a 90 day expiration on it. They congratulated me and wished me all the best. The airport itself is also pretty nice with automated trains and nice clean terminals. I would definitely recommend it to anyone else. If I had gone through Miami or JFK, being way bigger airports with extended facilites between immigration and customs my goose would definitely had been cooked.

Easy peasy lemon squeezy. I had a miserable POE officer to start with who processed me straight out of the visitors queue. He was not happy to see I had a case out of the ordinary at all. He made me sit on some seats behind the booths and then about 5 mins later another officer came over. This officer helped me load my luggage and steered the trolley to the immigration office.
Here I had a lovely smiley officer who was on overtime hours, process my case. He was a darling. All in all, once at the head of the visitors queue and past primary immigration, the process only took an additional 10 mins. :-) I'm very happy with the service I experienced even if the first officer was a miserable devil.

No problems here at all. My fiancee and I went in the normal visitor queue and when it was out turn to be processed the Immigration Officer was very friendly and welcomed me several times to the US. After the usual photo and forefinger prints he advised me to go and get my belongings from the luggage belt and then wait at some seats near the immigration booths to be processed. We were actually forgotten about for about 20 minutes but then the officer came and found us and took us to the immigration and customs office. My fiancee stayed outside the office but was asked to put all our cases through an x-ray machine while I was being processed. As for my actual processing I did nothing but sit in a chair and laugh and joke with the officers behind the counter who were dealing with my and a few other people with special entry visas. I didn't even realise when they handed me my passport back that they had finished and stayed chatting with them for another 5 minutes thinking they were still doing paperwork until they spelled it out that I could go. I said my thanks and left. Nothing was said about my customs form or 5 cases I had brought with me containing over $5000 in possessions (all declared). It was simple, quick and quite frankly a good laugh. 5 Stars to the Tampa immigration crew.

Had to wait approx 25 minutes in second inspection room but once I was called up to the desk it only took 3 or 4 minutes.
