The officers were very polite and helpful. They even commented that they liked my husband's baseball jersey and welcomed him to America.

After getting off the aircraft first, we were made to wait until the whole flight had been processed. As a result we missed our connection and had to be routed through Detroit. The guys weren't too hot on their DOMA knowledge, but they were professional and answered all my questions and processed my IR1 without any problems.

Cincinnati was a small and FAST POE! We were not even sent into secondary. The CBP officer stamped John's visa, stamped his I-94 and stapled it into his passport, reminded us to get married, opened the package and looked at one page (not sure which one-- maybe the medical), and then sent us on our way. He asked one question about the "trouble with immigration" John had when he was denied entry last year, and John merely stated that he hadn't been able to demonstrate sufficiently strong ties to the UK, and that was that. Another customs officer yelled, "You better love her!" as we walked away from the booth. All in all, VERY easy and done in 5 minutes max.

Flew into Cincinatti from London - had allowed myself plenty of time for immigration processing at point of entry but it took just a few minutes I joined the US citizens line and was dealt with by a really pleasant and helpful officer. Handed him my brown envelope and passport and had to fill in a WHITE form (CBP Form I-94) which they apparently should give you on the plane, (I had just filled out a green one as usual). It seemed identical to the green I-94 but was white. Took my fingerprints and photo, told me he didn't need my xray and that was that!
I would recommend Cincinatti as a point of entry - it's not too busy and hectic (unlike Chicago) and the staff seem to be friendly and pleasant. It's also a nice airport to connect in - quiet, relaxing and plenty of places to sit and chill out at the domestic terminal.
All in all a good experience

This was a very easy POE. Everyone was very friendly and happy to assist. They even apologized for the long waiting time although there was barely no waiting time at all. Since Cincinnati is pretty small it's easy to get around.
