Going through immigration was painless. Unfortunately, because a woman ahead in line had misplaced her documents, my fiance was held up for a very long time while the officers tried to accommodate her. However, the officers noticed that my fiance had been waiting for a while, and told him to come forward and processed him without hesitation. They told him he had 90 days to get married and sent him on his way.

Got off the plane as quick as possible and when I got to immigration there were only about 6 people in front of me. As usual we got slowed up by all the people in wheelchairs getting put in front.
normal stuff at the desk with fingerprints, photo and so on. Lady said oh you are getting married then. very friendly, she opened my big envelope and had a quick look then got me escorted to the processing room which I was expecting.
I sat while another CBP lady went through the contents and she found out I had someone elses I129F in my docs. She allowed me to call my fiancee to tell her i was going to be a while. So after about an hour I was admitted on parole for 30 days while we sorted out the cock up by london embassy.
The officer was very sympathetic and said she had not seen that in her 6 years there.
After a week or so they had got my petition back from London and I returned to BWI to get stamped in properly.
The bloke there was very friendly and helpful and we had a bit of a chat about the govt shutdown.
Considering the cockup by London I found the CBP at BWI very friendly and as helpful as they could be.

Very friendly and pleasant clearing. The desk officer only took one fingerprint because I flew into BWI so many times before that I am in the database. Then he took my picture and walked me to the room. There was no line so the other officer took care of me as soon as I arrived. He was smiling and we joked about the secrecy of the brown envelope. He didn't ask any questions, we were just having a regular conversation. He congratulated me and so did his colleague at the goods declaring desk.
I've always love flying into BWI because they're all so nice and peaceful.

I was understandably nervous, I split with my Fiance (as we were told to do) and waited in a huge line when I got to the front I gave the officer my packet, told him I am on a K1, he did the usual check my passport etc; and then took me away to another room, my Fiance had already went threw customs and I asked if he could accompany me, they said yes. When I got to the room we sat down, there were other people there and waited for my name to be called, we went up to the desk and the guy checked threw my papers, he told us the usual about marrying within the time limit, said something about how I look alot younger than 22 and then was asking us who cooks in the household, after that he gave me my I-94 and sent me to the baggage area! . Still quite daunting though!
