it was pretty painless. the immigration officer stamped the 90-day EAD before we asked. the whole process took about 40 minutes (most of the time spent waiting).

It took about 12 minutes to get thru customs and get the passport stamped.

took six different people to find the stamp then he was rechecked by each one

Flew from Dublin to JFK and cleared Immigration in Dublin, so no EAD Also the queue was enormous and their computers were crashing so it took a while.
