I have had very inconsistent treatment at JFK. I never know what to expect. This particular entry was without any problems, thankfully.

The immigration officer that processed us was very nice. He started whistling "Here comes the Bride".
We had no conflicts, no errors.

We entered JFK this morning together and were through inspection in about 1 hour and 40 minutes. My fiancé also received the EAD stamp. The immigration people were very nice and professional. Waiting in line took longer than actually going through immigration. I pretty much ran out of the plane to make sure I got to the CBP booths before the bulk of the passengers, then waited for a good half hour.
