I arrived into JFK at lunchtime. I had arranged my connecting flight to Richmond for 6 hours later so as not to risk missing it if the process was drawn out. However, I was through within the hour. The queue was pretty short because our flight was half empty.

Arrived at JFK Airport in New York on the 8th of February 2010 with 2 hours to spare to catch connecting flight to Boston. A bit of a delay due to many arrivals at the same time going through customs and then on to the office for the fingerprinting. Many flights arrived at the same time so there were very long lines at immigration and customs. There were not huge problems but the workers here lived up to the reputation of the typical New Yorker -- unfriendly and a bit rude.
