Very friendly and even joked around with us. Took a bit of a while because we came in late at night, right around the time of an influx of other Latin American flights

Taken to secondary inspections. The officer was very rude and even asked me why I was in a wheelchair (I have a brain tumor)

My husband (new US resident previously undocumented in the USA) and I entered together and the Miami airport. After I scanned my passport and got my slip a very helpful official pointed us into the right direction to start the incoming process for my husband.( non citizen/resident line) We picked a line and it moved fairly quickly. We handed his packet over took his picture then I handed over my passport as well. Very friendly staff. I feel that smiling and being calm on my part helped with the level of kindness the immigration officials showed us as well. We were escorted by another official to a holding room with vending machines and chairs and tv and we’re told to wait for our names to be called. When my husbands name was called I went with him. They asked who I was (wife) and I joked with the official a little. And smiled. They asked if the mailing address was correct and if we brought in any food (no) told us to wait just a minute while they stamped and signed everything and we’d be good to go. The entire time from deboarding to being out of immigration checks was about 20-30 minutes for us. Now I have family that took 3 hours as well so it depends on how many officials are working time of day and day of the week. I would say the staff and officials were really great and I’m glad we chose Miami as our entry point.

Very easy entry! Fiancee gave herself 5-6 hours before her connecting flight to be sure she wouldn't be late, but she was able to get through customs in about twenty minutes.

Simple process, officer simply asked where she would be staying in the US before reminding her to be married in 90 days and saying "Welcome to the USA, baby!"

My husband presented his Visa and packet to the immigration officer and he was immediately told to step aside and was sent into a room with many others. Luckily it only took about 15 minutes for him to be called back up. The officer asked him several questions, such as how long we've been married, why I wasn't traveling with him, when the last time he'd been to the US, where he plans to live and work here. Then the officer entered a bunch of stuff in the computer, opened his packet, asked him to confirm if the address on the packet was where he would be living, my husband said yes and he told him his green card would be mailed there in a couple months and to go pick up his luggage. After picking up his luggage and still in the immigration area (prior to dropping off the luggage for a connection flight), another officer approached him and started asking him more questions. After several questions, my husband told him he had just been in the immigration office answering many questions and he needed to get going so he didn't miss his connecting flight. The officer then told him he could go and luckily he was able to make his connecting flight on time.
