A bit late, but here's my review for the Detroit-Windsor Ambassador Bridge border crossing (no choice at the time since tunnel was still closed).
My fiance and I crossed January 3rd in order to fly from the Detroit Airport as I am from Windsor. My mom drove us so she was also there. We got to the booth and they asked us the general border crossing questions and I told them I was crossing on a Visa. They pulled us aside of course, and we had to leave the car to be searched and went into the small office. I signed in and shortly thereafter, a border officer called me up and we discussed the K-1. Overall, he was pretty friendly. He went over all my documents and made sure I knew that I had to be married within 90 days and what to do afterwards. I had to pay 6$ I believe for the I-94 and he attached a paper copy in my passport next to my Visa. After that, we were done and on our way. The overall process was easy, though a bit nerve wracking since I knew he could still deny me. There were no other issues and they didn't even go through our suitcases. Would recommend using the bridge crossing!

I entered through the Canadian/USA Border through Blaine Washington.
First let me say that we had a penske truck and a dog when crossing the boarder.
We pulled up to the boarder patrol officer and let him know that we were coming through with a K1 Visa, he had us pull into the parking lot.As we were pulling in we were greeted by another patrol officer and we let them know that we had a dog with us, she asked that we put our dog in her kennel while we are speaking with the boarder patrol officer. Once we put our dog in her kennel we went inside with our closed envelope from the consulate and our dogs vacinnation records, It did not take long till we were called up. The Boarder patrol officer was extremely grumpy and had ZERO personality, compared to the others there. He had us sit down as he went through the envelope and was playing around on the computer. 80% of the time we were sitting there he was talking to the rest of the staff about their plans for the up coming weekend and if they had any vacations coming up, if so what is their plans. When he was finally done he called us up and said 3 times now you HAVE to get married in 90 days if not your visa expires and you will have to start all over again. We continued to explain that we knew that and we already have plans and are VERY happy together and of course will follow the guidelines. He then stamped my passport and stapled in our I-94A Form. I asked if they wanted the keys to check our moving truck and if he wanted to see our dogs vacinnation records and he said no. Before we could leave we had to pay a $6.00 US Cash fee and then we were on our way.
It was very simple the only down fall was the boarder patrol officer we were dealing with.

Crossed Emerson POE at about 9:00 A.M., gave them unopened packet. Took us about 45 min. Everybody was awesome!

My experience entering the border was very pleasant. The officer going through my paperwork was very polite and had a sense of humour. He joked with my parents saying "so you like this guy she's going to marry? Because I could always deny her entry".
In total I was with the officer about 30 minutes. He confirmed a few details with me and went through my paperwork. I had a uhaul full of furniture/clothes/my life packed up into boxes, he didn't go through the uhaul but did ask what was in there. I also brought my dog, so he looked through his vaccine record.
He let me know I must be married within 90 days and sent me in my way!

I came into the states through the British Columbia-Washington border. The staff were really informative and helpful and didn’t make us feel uncomfortable or harassed. It took a long time for them to process all the K1 paperwork is the only slight negative but I was fine with waiting!
