Easy, just a few questions for him, then they let him on. I was pacing back and forth after waiting an hour after his plane landed! I was so excited to see him!

They let me skip the looooong queue because my connecting flight was leaving in 1.30 hrs. No problem
First officer opened my package and did some typing. I was then taken to another room where I was told to sit down and wait while they did some further processing, since it was friday night it was a very friendly and positive athmosphere. Everything went very smooth at JFK airport. As Soon as I got out of the airplane, i rushed to the immigration counters which were surprisingly empty...
