Hmmm, Detroit was interesting. The people were quite friendly, but the system did not seem to have a very smooth process. DETROIT, MICHIGAN....

The woman in charge there was so very nice, i present my passport and she oand ask is this k1 visa i said yes,then took finger printing she asked the brown sealed enveloped, she opened it and asked me when is our wedding date, i answered march 26, then she said congratulations.

aside from the long tedious flight, the process itself was pretty painless. cut the waiting time and go directly to line 37 or the special processing line found at the visitors visa side with your passport and immigrant envelope in hand.

Immigration officer checked the visa packet, asked what the petitioner's job is, checked medical report and asked when is the wedding date. Overall, no hassle and went through smoothly.
