Very good experience at JFK

After standing in line at the Non-US citizen counters for over an hour, I asked someone about using the US Citizens line, which was empty at the time.

My experience at the JFK POE was good but long and I came out of it tired.
I landed at JFK at 1h15pm and went to the immigration waiting lines.

They were so clueless at the airport that they send me to the 'immigration office' and had me wait for an hour so another officer could check my documents and then let me go. Seriously...?? After that I didn't even bother to ask..going through this sh** I forgot all about it anyway!

Everything went very smoothly overall. The officer was very kind. I was asked to go into an office so the paperwork processing could be completed without holding up the line. Not for any other reason. Took about 30 minutes in total including standing in line.
