Surprisingly, there was barely a line when I got to customs and immigration, so I only maybe waited 5 to 10 minutes. The officer I talked to was friendly and barely asked me any questions. Dulles Airport- Met a female customs officer she wasn't very nice. She went through every single piece of paper- very thorough. She asked many questions of my fiance: about me, where we met, when we last saw each other etc. She looked at every picture.

very smooth process, I was in line with my husband and children, as normal. The officer went through the paperwork, stamped the visa and sent me to counter 1 to have my fingerprint taken( in ink) and my signature for the green card.

Arrived at Dulles just before 7:00 a.m. and ours was the only arrival at the time. There were very few passengers on the visitors line and we were at the counter in no time. My wife arrived on a direct flight from Beijing around 8 pm. In less than an hour of her plane landing, she had cleared immigration, customs and picked up her bags. She reports that everyone was very nice and helpful. javascript:emoticon(' ')
