I passed my interview and is offically a Permanent Resident . My interview was done in basically 5-10 minutes. I went in about 15 minutes before my interview time and got called in 5 minutes after. The IO made my husband and I raise our right hands for the oath. Then asked for my passport and id and my husbands id. IO then asked basic questions, my name, DOB , parents names and confirmed my signature. Then asked about my arrival to the US and made me answer some of the questions on the 485 form that you normally put NO to. Then he made my Husband state his name, dob, and confirm signature. The IO then typed some stuff on the computer and then stamped my passport and said congratulations you are now a permanent resident and will recieve my card in 1-2 weeks in the mail. He said i submitted more than enough proof of our marriage and that it was unnecessary to keep us there longer and question us. We have great interview in our AOS last November 08, 2010. We didnt' file AOS nearly 3-years due to financial matters. We came here as K1 & K2. Our IO is very nice and making jokes to my son. The security are friendly & accomodating. Since it's monday, the office is packed with applicants, and our named called a bit late, but no hassle since we got approved!.....Our IO asked us only MC, Passport & wants to see our BC, thats all!..i brought tons of documents to proved our bonafice marriage, but he never even take single look on it. After our Interview, he stamped my passport and my son's passport 1-551. And told us then that while his doing stamping, he already request for "card production"! God is so good!...

WE HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE. OUR IMMIGRATION WORKER, WAS QUICK AND TO THE POINT. HE CALLED US IN. TOLD ME TO NOT ANSWER ANY QUESTION AND ASKED MY HUSBAND HOW WE MET? IF HE KNEW MY MOTHER AND FATHER? IT WAS REALLY QUICK. HE DID ASK QUESTION ABOUT HIS INITAL VISTOR VISA AND WHAT HE INITAL TOLD THE IMMIGRATION WORKER IN GHANA.
