Review Topic: Lifting Conditions

Walked in today for an early bio-metrics instead of our scheduled one on 4/25 since we will be traveling. Staff was super awesome and friendly. No questions asked and they let us in. We reached the office at about 7:50am and were out the door with biometrics completed by 8:25am.

Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

Interview was very smooth and was approved at the time of interview. Per conducting interview officer, he said he can see that our marriage was true with love so no further review was necessary.

Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

I'm typically not one for writing reviews but I know how helpful they were for my husband and I throughout this journey, so this is my way of paying it forward

We had our AOS interview today at the Tukwila USCIS location and overall, the two experiences we've had here have been extremely positive (the first being biometrics). After clearing security (don't forget to bring the $7 for parking!), we were directed to the receptionist and then on to the waiting area upstairs. Much to our surprise, the room was not completely full (between 10-12) so we remained hopeful we wouldn't have to sit waiting and nervous for too long! We were called in by the officer about 10 minutes after our initial start time.

Now I preface this next part with I'm the 'very prepared' type. With many USCIS experiences in the past (border crossings, etc.), these officers appreciate detail and want you to provide direct evidence to support your case. I put together a ... read complete review

Review Topic: Naturalization

Interview was scheduled for 8am on the 3/9/2016. I arrived at 7.30am and went through security and checked in. Around 8.05am I was called for my appointment.

I was asked to raise my hand and swear that I would tell the truth. I then sat down and was asked for my drivers license, Green card, appointment letter and passport The interviewer was very pleasant and made it feel almost like a formality. He explained he was going to go over the application then do the written, reading and civics test.

He went through the application, checking my name, D.o.b, wife's name, her ex husbands, name, my kids and step kids names and my address. He then went through the checklist of questions such as am I a habitual drunkard etc. Then asked me when I left the country on vacation. We chatted about Mexico and he said he had been to Cancun and despite him being Mexican American, barely had to speak Spanish as everyone wanted to talk English.

He then asked me to... read complete review

Our interview was scheduled for yesterday January 27th at 12.35pm. We arrived around 12pm and there was a line up by the security checkpoint which took us about 10 mins to clear up. We were sitting at the waiting room by 12.15pm and there was a lot of people in the waiting room. We waited for about 2 hrs before a lady officer called us into her office. She asked us for IDs and passports. She then went through the questions on I-485 and went through I-131 as well. She also asked us how we met and how we ended up here. At the end of the interview she told us we would get a notice in the mail and I would be getting a 10 yr green card as we've been married for two years now. I received a text this morning that my card was approved. Overall it was a pleasant experience.
