This review is for our AOS interview in Seattle. My husband was adjusting from a K1 visa.
The whole thing took about half an hour. The man interviewing us was friendly and very thorough. He asked for our passports and another form of photo ID, then went through every single piece of paper in our packet. As he checked our paperwork, he asked for our full names, dates of birth, place of birth, parents' names, occupations, and how we met. He also had us describe all of our visits and how our wedding day went. After that, he collected wedding photos, a wedding invitation, the lease on our place, proof of renters insurance, and our joint bank account statement. At the end, he said "well, you guys look like you have a great relationship. A bonafide marriage. I'm happy to say that you'll be approved for a conditional green card! You can expect to receive it within 30 days."
So overall, it was a very thorough interview, but we came prepared and all is well!

Interview took around 20mins. General Yes/No questions.
Interviewer did not approve or deny on the spot, told us to check for updates on USCIS case updates. As soon as we walked out to the car, case status updated to "New Card being Produced". 3 hours later, case updated to "Case Approved"

hello!
this is my first time using this website, just like to share my experience with you guys!
I had my marriage based AOS interview yesterday may 04 2016
I got there with my husband around 2:05. We left our phone in the car but here comes a problem.. I couldn't find my attorney!!!
I asked the officer if everyone walks in with their attorney and he said yeah pretty much or they know where to meet them. So I went back to the car called her and finally I found here(she was upstairs waiting for us the whole time)
SO if you are going with your attorney, make sure you guys talk about where to meet each other!!!
After we went upstairs we had to wait until 4ish to get called in.. I feel like our group was the only one laughing, talking, making jokes. To me I think its more weird being nervous and not talk..
