Our interview was held at the San Jose, CA location. It was probably the easiest part of the entire process. The interviewer asked my wife (applicant) several simple questions: 1. do you have a drivers license. 2. Where do you live. 3. Is the address shown your correct mailing address. The rest of the interview he was just talking to me about basketball and his parents property. It lasted about 45 minutes, but the interview was more like 5.

Praise the Lord 🙌 The interview went smoothly with the officer at the center. My husband was seated beside me and our lawyer was behind us. There was no separation as such. After asking us to give our oaths, the only questions he asked were below:
1 - He asked to see both of our original birth certificates and passports
2 - He asked for my full name. I had to mention I changed my surname to fit in my husband's surname
3 - His full name
4 - He asked for the full names for my parents and my husband for his
5 - If this was our first marriage
6 - He asked how me met and to describe our relationship
7 - Then the usual immigration questions such as if I am a spy, if I am affiliated with any organizations etc and I answered no to everything
He said he won't approve on the same day but it will take some time.
My advice before going for the interview is, wear socks and shoes that you can easily slip out of... read complete review

Went over smoothly! Interviewer was friendly and asked more-so "paperwork" questions and less personal/relationship relating our marriage.
(Hopefully that's a good sign!)
Personal questions included:
How did you meet?
Have you met each other's family?

Mrs.Hammond was very friendly and really keep our nerve at bay. I didn’t have any ID except my expired passport and they had a supervisor authorised me to enter and it went all smooth & the people and security were very nice and helpful. Afterwards we were called by the interviewer to a room. It feels like talking to a friend and she asked a few questions like how we met and review our application in case there is any update. Told us we’ll get news on the decision in a couple weeks if everything is fine.
But the case were updated to approved after a couple hours!!!
