Now it’s my turn to share AOS interview experience with you, guys!!!
Here is what happened to us today at AOS interview in San Diego, CA:
Interview was in downtown SD at the Federal Building scheduled for 12:45. I took a day off of work, and walked to the CIS office from my home (thankfully we live 15min by foot from the place), and was there at 12:30. Hubby was already waiting in front of the building (he came straight from work). We came thru security fairly quick, they just made me take my high-heels off since they kept beeping on metal detector, lol!!
We came into the waiting room, put our Appointment Letter into the tray and set down. The place was pretty much empty, only one family was there 4 Naturalization interview, and 2 ppl 4 infopass. Very calm and chill atmosphere. I was nervous and went to the water fountain to drink some H2O, hubby, on the contrary, was super relaxed!!
We didn\\\'t wait ... read complete review

We've had a very good experience with our local CIS office in San Diego. (Front St) Everyone has always been more than helpful, friendly and polite. The officer that interviewed us for our AOS was professional and good humored. We were impressed with the efficiency of the whole system. It was great to get the text and email updates. :-)

AOS was filed thru an attorney.
John Lynch was the name of the IO. nice and friendly.
Our attorney attended our interview and provided the IO with the big binder folder of all my notes and details.
Very easy and friendly interview.
He approved me on the spot and took my passport to stamp the I-551 in it, my GC was received about a week or two after the interview.

My interview was today at 8:15 am. My wife and I got to San Diego early because we though there were going to be alot of people. We parked in Horton Plaza like the rest that have submitted reviews told us to do due to the 3 hour free parking. We were surprised to see that there was no line nor was there alot of people in the waiting area. Our appointment was at 8:15 but we didn't get called in until about 9 am. The IO was a very friendly and polite man. I couldnt of asked for a smoother interview. All he did was go over my packet to make sure all the papers were there and then he asked me the i485 questions which were all no. Then he briefly asked me to tell him when and how we met and when we started dating and when did we get married. He then asked my wife a question about the military and that was it! he said I approve your petition and that I should recieve my green card in about 2 weeks. This is one of the happiest days of my life and I can't be anymore thankful. javascript:emotic... read complete review
