Office is very organized and personnel is very professional. My IO was very friendly lady which helped me greatly. I am really grateful for all her assistance.
Arrived at 7:00 AM and waited for approximately 30 minutes before coming in for the check in process. After that I was given a number and waited for 30 more minutes until my number was called by IO to come to her office. Then she sworn me in and we started the interview which was mainly verify information contained in the application and also turn in the medical exam for review. She went over my I-130 and collected all the evidence that showed any change in my general situation since the application was submitted such as a new job. After that she told me that the case was likely going to be approved because she was satisfied with all the evidence but she needed to check all the evidence one more time. At 5 PM i received the e-mail that my card was sent to production
Thanks to the San Antonio office ... read complete review

My impression is that this is a relaxed field office. 95% of the people coming in for immigration interviews and InfoPass appointments were casually dressed. Scruffy jeans. T-shirts. Some bra straps falling out. Bright diaper bags. No suits. My husband and I, in business casual and nice shoes (as suggested by lawyers' websites online), stuck out alongside a handful of others. Maybe we shouldn't have worn full sleeves in the brutal heat.
Our officer was young, spacey, and sweet. She didn't ask for identification and reviewed basic facts on the I-130 and I-185 with my husband and me individually. This took approximately five minutes. Afterwards, a handful of basic questions.
1. Where did you both meet?
2. When did you start dating?
3. Did you have a big wedding?
4. Have you met your in-laws?
That was it. She briefly went over the procedures for Removal of Conditions and Naturalization. ("I hope you stay married!")

We had our interview today in San Antonio. We brought two binders full of evidence, including originals birth and marriage certificates, recent pay stubs and 2015 tax transcript, pictures together, shared bank account and credit card statements, shared lease, shared utilities, shared car title, proof of my wife as beneficiary on my Roth IRA, chat logs, call logs, social media pages, greeting cards, affidavits from friends and family, and all of the previous documents and notices we've gotten from USCIS.
Our Immigration Officer was an older gentleman that initially looked cranky but turned out to be really nice. He asked us, "Are you scared? You should be--just kidding." He spoke fluent Spanish so we were able to do the interview in Spanish, which made my wife feel a lot better, and he was very up front about the fact that he had zero interest in doing any more work or verification than absolutely necessary. I believe his actual words were, "Oh, you came on a K1 visa? Tha... read complete review
