Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

The officer was from the same country as my husband and I are from. She was not very friendly as if she had some pre-judgements about us. Our shitty lawyer was not a help either as she had not submitted enough financial documents. So she decided to do a fraud interview and separated us. Long story short she was about to deny us and ask for more evidence when we remembered that we have a joint Costco club membership and she said I'll ask my supervisor and ended up approving us on spot. However she told me that whenever you're applying for removing of condition you will definitely get an interview appointment unless you have children by then. (which we didn't and got approved without interview)

Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

We had our interview set for January 07,2019 at 8:05 am
I the petitioner and my husband
We got there around 7:30 am. We went through security, and we then proceeded to go to the 2nd floor.
You give the receptionist the appointment letter. My husbands name was called in right at 8 am 5 minutes before our schedule time.
We were greeted by a very serious gentleman.
We swore in and then he followed by taking my husbands fingerprints and pictures.
After that he went straight to our paper work asked my husband the I-465 questions, asked me questions about our relations ship
asked four our kids birth certificate, bank statements, our credit card statements and then he asked for pictures we took a whole album and he took the 1st one out of us with our newborn and made a copy.
He then went a printed the approval of permanent residence. We were ecstatic!!!

Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

Interview was scheduled for 10/11/18 and we arrived 30 minutes early. We were called in 40 minutes after our interview time and the interview lasted an hour. The lady was a very nice person. We were interviewed together, and no crazy questions were asked. The types of questions asked were how did we meet, does she work, where did we marry, what did our parents think, and more of that sort. I though the interview was going to be a little tougher due to the fact that my wife doesn’t work, and she is the petitioner. Also, I entered with a BCC and was not given an I-94.

Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

This is a review for AOS interview in the San Bernadino USCIS office that took place in mid June, 2018. Summary available at the end.

Setting: I am the USC(Petitioner) and my wife is the applicant(Beneficiary)
Our interview time was close to 11am. We got there about 35 minutes earlier. Security line was short and quick. The interview waiting room is on the second floor where everyone is waiting. There were a lot of people waiting for their interviews and from what I can tell, they are mostly here for Naturalization interviews.

So we checked in as soon as we got there and started waiting. Many couples came after us went in to their interviews before us. I had to ask the reception desk and their canned response was "it really depends on your Interview Officer(IO from now)". In the end, we were called in after waiting for about 2 hours. Our IO was a kind-looking lady in her 60s and she brought us into her office to get ready for the interview.
