First of all, I would like to thank visa journey for this community has been my best friend since our journey started.
So my AOS interview got approved today and this is how it went...
Appointment time is at 8:45am at Sacramento, CA. I will skip the step-by-step part from the security until I was called. My husband and I were just praying and hoping we will be assigned to one of them who "smiles". So we were called exactly 8:45am by a guy American interviewer and his first greeting to us was his awesome smile asked how we were doing and went straight to a small room. We introduced ourselves and did the pledge. He asked for our IDs, my passport...and he took my I-94 and said he will be keeping it since I won't need it anyway. The questions were: My name, my address, date of birth, place of birth, where in the Philippines I was born, if I am currently working, if I have a baby, if my husband have a baby, my current phone number, s... read complete review

we arrived, 15 minutes earlier to our appointment, our Officer was nice all the time trying to keep the interview as a conversation more than an Inmigration Interview, not many questions and all of them directed to my wife (the petitioner), he only asked me my wife's Birthday that was all, the only problem was that we sent a divorce decision for my wife previous marriage and not the final decree, however, he said that the case was fine and he didn't find any inmigration issues, we should just sent the final divorce decree and after that wait for the Green card... after we sent the decree it took only 10 days to receive the green card in my mail box...
Here you can see some question he asked to my wife:
Where do you meet?
How did you keep a long distance relationship?
when did you Marry him?
your parents know you are married?
when are you expecting the Baby?
The rest of the interview we spent it trying to find th... read complete review

The interview was pretty short and pain free. It was mostly going over the information in the form to see if it was correct and then where we lived, who lived there, number of rooms, plans for our upcoming ceremony, number of guests and date, any plans for valentines day. We provided joint bank account statements, pictures, pay stubs and the paperwork for my husband to be added to my insurance and benefits plan at work. Interviewer was nice and even joked around with us a little bit before telling us that we were approved and what the process would be over the next 3 years. Overall a good experience.

I kno these guys have alot on there plate as there are MANY who, like me, found love abroad and are hell-bent on having our loved one here with us, and be that as it may, any time I've called, these guys are always polite, informative, nonjudgemental or arrogant towards any of the many questions I have and I just wanted to say and show appreciation for all they do, have done, and continue to do! Thanx a bunch.

Hi Friends,
The wait is over.Got apporved on the spot.
Interview experience:
We actually got a little late(20mins) but the staff was very nice no Q's asked on that.
As soon as we slid the interview letter the officer came in the hall called out my name and we(my wife and I) went in with her.She introduced herself and asked us to take the seats. We took the oath of speaking the truth and nothing but the truth.
The Q's to me:
Where is departure i-94 original card(had it stapled in my PP)?
How long have you known each other for?
What did you do for living before you came to US?
Who all attended your wedding?----i showed the pics and my wife pointed out the relatives.
How do you like California(told her honestly that i prefer Southern CA more than Northern....eventhough i had my processing take place in Sacramento.
Do you have anything bills, accounts which are joint etc etc...i said No....none whatsoever since i wa... read complete review
