We had an 8am appointment and arrived around 7:30. There were about a dozen folks already lined up. The outside security guard was very nice and checked appointment papers as we walked through the door. The guard on the search was very abrupt and took every opportunity to rudely correct anyone who didn't follow directions to the letter (if you are one step past the 'Stop' sign, watch out! There were some conflicting directions about when to go to the next floor as they were running a little late, so some people got a little confused.
We got to the 2nd floor (not 3rd as the letter stated), checked in, and sat down and waited for our names to be called. Once we got inside, we took our oaths, then the interviewer immediately put us at ease and told us he saw no problem with our case. We chatted for a bit, and then he asked a few official questions like whether we knew each other's full names and birthdays, and whether my husband knew our anniversary. He then asked for a few... read complete review

The Interviewer was of Asian origin, with strong Asian accent. The person was nice to my wife (the beneficiary), willing to repeat each question whenever it was hard for her to understand the question. The interviewer was also patient to wait for my wife's answers.
At eh end of the interview, the interviewer said: "Ok, so far so good, some other people will want to review your case. You will know from us in about 4 weeks. Make sure you remove the condition 90 days before the two years. Have a nice day"

I got to the building 5 mins after they opened, 1 hour before my interview time. There was a long line outside. I had my young children with me and 1 in a stroller, so I was allowed in before everyone else in line. Went through security check upon entering the building and proceeded to the check in/waiting room. The room was packed (and it was a big room) took a number to wait in line to sign in. My number got called and I checked in at the desk, filled out some paperwork and waited for the Immigration Officer to call me. After about 30 mins, the officer calls me into the room, my husband, our kids and I went in the room. The Immigration officer asked my name, husband's and kids' names, how we met, how long we were married, asked my husband about his job and that was it. He never asked me for any documents. The interview took 10 mins at most. He was a very nice officer and he made me feel comfortable. I didn't feel like I was being interrogated like I would feel crossing into the U.S f... read complete review

Had our interview today to adjust our status from K1 visa. Everything went smoothly. Our officer was a pleasant young man who was very nice and put our minds at ease. He asked to see my wife's passport, birth certificate and translation of her birth certificate. He asked to see my birth certificate, passport, and marriage certificate. After that he asked my wife how we met and then he verified her information that was on the I485 form(name,address,etc..) He then asked her the same yes/no questions that are on the I485 form(I.E. have you ever been convicted of a crime, any gov't afilliation, are you a communist,etc...). I took out my evidence that our relationship is bona fide and he said he didn't need to look at it all. He took the bank statements, some pictures from our wedding, car insurance docs, a letter from our doctor stating my wife is pregnant, and our housing association I.D. badges. After that, he told us we were approved and we should receive her GC in 3-4 weeks. All in all... read complete review
