Review Topic: Employment Authorization

BIOs taken and everything went well. I guess this was for her EAD and her AP because it is the only one Rosie and I have had.

I is a very hard place to find since the street is new and the building is new. Nice thing is it is near the AirPort and since a Mailman was delivering mail in the area he help us with direction. Oh, SHOT !! we was almost late for the BIO's.

Oh it was funny one of the USCIS agents at the office is Filipino which made my wife relax a little more.

Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

Arrived 15 minutes early. I was nerve wrecked but my girl was a cool customer. Got called in right at the appt time by a male adjudicator. Started the interview by raising both our hands that we would be stating the truth. He asked us how we met, told him we met online through a dating site. Then he told us he would be asking questions that either of could answer. Asked if we had bills and other stuff that show co-mingling of finances. I handed him 6 month worth of bank statements, life insurance beneficiary snapshot, and car insurance documents. He said that was enough and told us we'd come well prepared. The vibe around the interview started getting better and started asking us about work, economy and stuff. Proceeded to verify information on the g-325a for my wife, and after that approved the i-130. He then verified my info on the g-325a. Since we were pretty thorough on the initial submission, he just asked for the new i-864, paycheck stuff/employment letter etc. He told me he goin... read complete review

Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

It was a windy, blustery, snowy drive to Omaha! We arrived at the CIS office in Omaha about one half hour early to a packed room with other applicants. We were called for our interview approximately on time. The man who interviewed us was very professional and business-like. He looked through our file and documentation we had brought along. He took a sample of bank statements, approximately every six months, and copies of our birth certificates. After visiting with a supervisor, we were approved on the spot and told to expect conditional residence card in two weeks. He had us sign a document stating that we understood lifting of conditions must be filed 90 days in advance of the expiration of the conditional residence card. We shook hands and left, breathing a sigh of relief!
