We had our interview at 8:30am in Newark, NJ. We waited 30 mins outside the building in the security line and arrived at the 14th level at 8am and checked in. We were called in at 9am.
The interviewing officer was a very polite women in her early 30's. Our interview lasted for 10 mins and we weren't required to submit any documentation, which was disappointing because we had prepared so much. All the officer requested was the originals of the marriage certificate, our birth certificates, passports, drivers licenses and my social security card. She didn't ask to see my EAD card nor keep it after the interview.
My wife (USC) was asked to verify her name, maiden name, address and parents names. I was asked the same questions as my wife plus the yes/no questions, my last address outside the US, the POE where I last entered, what other visas I have and she queried my intentions when I last entered because I adjusted from a B-2. She then gave me a letter saying ... read complete review

Very Pleasant experience overall I had my appointment 9am. 8:30 we got there and waited outside of the building for 40 min!!!! Went to a 13th floor and was called around 9:30. Interview took just 10 min IO very nice spanish looking woman asked me for passport and nothing else. While looking trough the file she asked me few questions about my previous F1 and O1 visa, if I travel outside the country while staying here and where. My husband was chatting with her about big line outside and how long we were standing and waiting. (he forgot his jacket home and really got cold bc line was moving so slow) So make sure you dress warm lol I got approved!!!!!!!!!

Our interview appointment was scheduled at Newark, NJ at 8:00am. We came 20 minutes to 8 and the line infront of the Broad Street entrance and the back entrance was long.
The wait outside to be able to get into the facility was painful since it was really cold outside but other than that, the guard who controls the line, the person who directs you at which window to go to, and the person behind the window who directs you to the waiting room, and finally the interviewer were all pleasant, cordial, very professional and treated us with respect.

Went with my wife to her AOS interview yesterday, everything as great. It felt like a discussion with our friend about our marriage. Officer said everything was okay with wife, however had to confirm a few things about my K2 step daughter, who had turned 21 in May, prior to AOS.
Received email and text this morning ordering card production. Woo Hoo!!
