Update!! Had my interview today at New Orleans Office at 10:20. Showed up at the place where the interview was scheduled in Metairie( 2424 Edenborn Ave) 10 mins early just to go up to third floor and see that the offices have been moved to Poydras Ave deep in New Orleans. My wife and I jumped in the truck and "rushed" to the new office. Close to the Superdome oh what a joy traffic was. We made it 10 mins after the official time and checked in. We placed appointment letter at window the guard instructed us to. The IO came out shortly (idk how she knew) however she called my name after 2 mins in waiting room. We went in and were sworn in immediately. Here are interview details:
She double checked my answers on my I-485 application. Asking me full name, DOB, address basically everything on the 485 sheet.
She then if that was my signature on the 485. She did that same thing for the 130 for my wife.

We were a little nervous, just b/c it's an important interview. We arrived 30 minutes before our interview scheduled time. Put our form into the slot and waited. They called us in about an hour after our scheduled time. We were greeted by a friendly lady who directed us to her office. We remained standing and swore our oath to tell the truth. We sat and discussed about our case. She asked how we met. Where we met. If we lived together before we got married. Our address. She asked for both our ID's, our passports (or other documentation from the list, but we gave our passports), our birth certificates, our marriage certificate. She verified some of the data we had submitted on the applications with me (the sponsor). She went through the questions that my spouse had answered on the application, with him. She asked for our proof of bonafide marriage. I gave utility bill with both our names, check book (she said they don't like checkbook, but prefer bank statement which I did not have), co... read complete review

The experience was very good. The officer asked simple questions such as: how did we meet, where we get married, why did we get married in less than three months. Finally he asked for joint documents. We provided apartment lease, savings account, credit card statement and utility bill. Thats all, finally he reminded us for applying for removing the condition from GC. GC was approved in about 5 minutes. Overall an excellent experience.
