My wife and I went in today for the biometrics appointment. We got in at 7:40, went through the metal dectectors, then had to wait until 8:00 when they opened the doors. The man that opened the door asked for our appointment letter and ID. Angie gave her passport, but her name on it does not match her name on the appointment letter. Aghhh!! He said I need to see the marriage certificate, or a photo ID with the same name. THANKFULLY, Angie has a student ID that has her new last name. That worked! We filled out the 1 page form (name, address, case#)they called her in by 8:15 and we were out of the building by 8:30. Angie said that everything was fine. They took her electronic fingerprints. Then had her take off her earings to take her picture. Everything was great...just wish we would have brought the marriage certificate.
