my interview for adjustment of status was on June 28,2013.was on time but forgot my passport at home, could have gone for it but didn't want to be called while I was running home to get it.when he welcomed and sworned us(me and wifey) first thing I told him I don't have a passport, he said you have a problem, but let us do the interview first and we'll see for the rest.Interview was corteous usual questions, everything was in order. Make me sign paperwork. approved on the spot.(he wanted to know the last time I came in the country, hopefully it was done on an advance parole, wich I had, saved the day on the passp. issue.)

We had our interview on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 @ 12:30pm, almost got there late had we had some last minute errands to do. After arriving at the Miami location, my husband and I cleared the security check point and proceeded to the information desk, we showed our appointment letter and told to be seated. My husband and I waited for approximately 15-20mins before being called. The immigration officer sworn us in and read the penalty of marriage fraud (we weren't concern as our marriage is genuine and our love is solid). The officer asked for our names, date of births and address, she also asked me a list of security questions which I answered all no.
She asked how we met and asked for proof of living together, we showed her all our photos including wedding albums, joint bank account, rental agreement and a few original documents that we previously sent. The interview lasted about 15mins, mostly with her processing my documents. She then said I should receive my green card in the next 2 weeks and explained the 2 years condition on the green card and how and when to remove it. Overall we had a super nice officer who didn't give us a warm time, of course having a genuine marriage placed a big difference.
Oh, one more thing, my passport wasn't stamp and neither was my EAD taken from be, the case has been updated to say that they have mailed me a notice of registration for my permanent resident card javascript:emoticon(' ')
