My husband and I drove roughly 8 hours to the "local" USCIS office. We went down 2 days early to just have a couple of days of fun before the interview. We arrived to the USCIS building about 10 minutes before the interview time (we wanted to be earlier than that, but it was raining incredibly hard and it slowed us down.)
We went into the interview waiting room and began to wait. One by one people who were there when we entered were called back and then left, then people who arrived after we did began to be called back and leaving. I was starting to get really worried that it was taking so long. My husband, however, was cool as a cucumber and said that was actually a good sign. lol
After almost 2 hours of waiting they called his name. I wasn't allowed to go back with him. Less than 10 minutes later he came back out and signaled for us to go.
He said they only really asked him identification questions (never even asked to see the pil... read complete review

Our interview appointment was scheduled March 14 at 8:15am but got called around 9:30am. The officer was nice, we were interviewed separately. The whole process took less than 20 minute. We got approved on the spot. javascript:emoticon(' ')

I arrived about 20 minutes before my scheduled appointment. I went in through security. I thought this appointment would be like the others I have had (in Atlanta and Montreal) so I left my cell phone in the car. I later noticed others all had cellphones in the waiting room. Anyhow, I went through security and into the room. Naturalization appointments are to go wait in an adjoining waiting room towards the back on the right. When you go into that room you are required to submit your notice letter into a slot in the wall. That lets the staff know you are here. It seems like you are already assigned to the officer who will be interviewing you because one lady came out and apologized to all of her interviewees that day because she was running late (and called each of their names on the list). I fortunately was not on that list. My appointment was for 2:00 and I was called by "my" officer at around 2:15pm. She escorted me down the hall to her office. She had me stand and raise my right h... read complete review

My hypusband and I were scheduled at 8 AM on the 24 September. We were called in 5 minutes before schedule. The officer was extremely friendly and said we had prepared our file accurately.
Just a few questions on when and how we met, and we had to show are passports and another proof of our bona fide marriage.
After 20 minutes we were approved. Got my agreen card today. 7 days after interview!!!!
