12:15pm interview today -- we arrived a half hour early so we had time to find parking and get through security. That was all easy and well-organized. We were in the waiting room at least 10-15 minutes before our scheduled time; however, they didn't call us in until about 12:45pm.
Our interviewer swore us in, asked for IDs, copy of our marriage certificate, confirmed some basic info in our forms (birth dates, address, employment). Then she just asked a few friendly questions about how we met, our respective families. It was very chatty and casual.
She asked to see our documents. We had nearly all of the recommended examples from here on VJ, so no worries there. She looked at our photos and asked a few questions about our wedding, commented on our beautiful venue.
She went into the other room to make some copies of documents and had our approval paper with her when she returned. We were with her less than a half hour.

FROM JULY 1ST, 2014:
VJers, I am so disappointed right now. Our interview was this morning and I have an RFE in my hand instead of a GC approval. I'm sorry - I just got so caught up in everyone's success stories that I believed mine would go as smoothly, especially because my husband and I have been together for close to 8 years.
We arrived at the Chatsworth, CA location around 10:20am (appointment was set for 10:30am). We popped our appointment letter into the drop box per office instructions and we sat down. My hubby got called to check in a few minutes later. We sat and waited... and waited... and waited. Finally, 2 hours later (12:20pm), we get called into the office. The IO wasn't unfriendly, but he was definitely all business. He proceeded to ask us for a variety of documents (originals of birth certificates, etc.). I showed him our SS cards with our new married name, as well as my bank cards and a bank document with our married last name. He asked... read complete review

Security people at the front were pretty polite (esp compared to some of their counterparts in LAX). IO definitely got my paperwork in order very quickly after he approved us on the spot, because I did my interview on Monday and got my hands on the GC by Saturday.
