Very easy and calm interview. Took about 2-3 minutes. The officer asked some questions about names, address, dates of birth, past arrests or criminal background. Then she asked if there's anything extra we want to add to the file. And that's it. She said you've done your interview and we will mail you our decision soon.

We waited 15-20 minutes and then walked into the office. The officer was very nice and asked us standard questions about how long we had been together, what we do etc. We went through the photo album and he took a few pictures for our file. It was maybe 10 minutes long, then he said he had everything he needed and they would let us know.
I received the approval the next day.

Interview was on august 7 2014 which was not very difficult. officer just grilled my wife (USC) with dates. then she asked us to submit all previous apartment lease agreement since we started living together. I got my i-485 and i-130 approval emails on october 3 2014. whoever is going AOS interview thru marriage do not have to worry as long as relationship is real.

Our interview was 11/22/2013 and was similar to most other reviews here for questions asked and documents requested. However, our I/O was not personable at all. When we were through she gave us a letter that said a decision has not been reached at this time and they may ask for more information. Our attorney asked when she might make a decision and she said a week ot two. We waited over three months to receive an approval of the I-130 and denial of the I-485 because my husband had left the US without an AP. Stupid mistake, yes I know. The approved I-130 was marked Sent to File rather than forwarded to NVC. I filed an I-824 in April 2014 requesting the I-130 be sent to NVC so we could do Consular processing. I was told by USCIS and NVC that this normally takes three weeks. It has been over four months and NVC doesn't have the file from Houston yet. I read about some people getting their decision and GC in a few weeks. Though it is our fault for no AP, I haven't seen my spouse in 9 month... read complete review
