My wife and I got to the office 45 minutes early. About 10 minute wait in line at the door while everyone was passed through metal detector. In the waiting room for AOS interviews, we waited about 10 minutes. The officer interviewing us spoke spanish which helped because my wife still doesn't speak good english. She first asked us for ID documents (passports, my drivers, wife's employment card, SS card) and evidence documents which we still needed to submit. I offered her a huge stack of documents but only wanted the ones which were not yet on file (my 2008 join tax returns/W2s, pay stubs, join bank account evidence). She then reviewed our I485, verifying information like names, address, birth dates, parents-in-laws' names, etc. She reviewed wife's birth certificate, then asked me about how we met, when I proposed, when we got married, if I had met her parents, etc. Hardly asked my wife anything though we all spoke spanish.

We arrived, and there were only about 15 people in the waiting room. Our interviewing officer was super nice and pretty funny. She swore us in, verified Part 1 of the I-485, asked the questions about drugs/prostitution/etc, commented that it was good that the vaccines were already done, and then asked me (USC) to give any documents we wanted that we didn't already submit. We gave copies of health insurance, car insurance, 2008 income taxes, bank statements, and 5 months of pay stubs. She asked me if I'd met his family, how and where we met, my husband's father's & mother's first names, if we lived in a house or apartment, and if my husband had yet met my parents. Overall an awesome interview! She said she'd, "probably approve this and get it all done today," and then explained the 2 yr conditional card and let us keep his EAD card & AP docs "because you guys already paid for them" (but they were free with our AOS submission). We had a very good experience! We had our big wedding on the 24th of January and the interview was the 27th. I printed a couple of pictures from the wedding and a couple from last summer. Both had our families in them. I also took our cell phone bill, Bank Statement, Life insurance beneficiary statement, Maternity plan with my new name, Honeymoon itinerary with new name, and passport with new name.
We waited about 30 minutes at the office. The agent was very nice. We aited for her to ask us questions. The first series of questions were just to verify the information on the AOS application. We had used the advance parole so she changed some of the info on the app and then Eben resigned for the changes.
After that she asked what evidence we had of our relationship. I showed her the items above. I also told her that we were leaving the next day to go to Mexico for our honeymoon. She was very kind and told us we were approved and that she would have Eben's passport with the... read complete review

It was a lot nicer and easier then we thought it would be.  We were so afraid... After all I was illegal for 23 years.

Everything went really well, I prepared all the papers I need with both our names.
The officer was so nice...and the interview took about 35 minutes, and she approved. Then she ordered my green card, and show me the paper and I have to make sure everything in the paper is correct. 
Over all the interview is really good
