After getting through security we arrived on the 2nd floor 35 minutes early. The 2nd floor had approximately 40 people in the waiting room. We waited over an hour for Meryll’s name to be called. The officer apologized for calling us late and was very nice. The officer swore us in and asked me, the sponsor, the first questions:
How did we meet?
When and where was our marriage?
If I met her parent’s and what was their names?
If Meryll has met my parents and siblings? To which Meryll supplied pictures.
When Meryll arrived in US?
About my income.
When was Meryll’s birth date?
Then Meryll was asked the questions off the list, plus my birth date, how we met, if she had met my parents, etc.
The immigration officer stated we sounded like a nice couple and said Meryll was approved.
P.S. We found parking 1 block south and 1.5 blocks west of the office between S. LaSalle and S. Financial PL.

I'm in the ARMY and I'm assigned to Honduras. The immigration officer on post is asking me for my Case Number. I'll like to get the case transfer to the US Embasy in Honduras.
Petitioner Jonathan Barreto
SSN 583-85-1482
My wife Name: Wendy Melissa Barreto Chirinos
DOB 26 Sept 85
Place of Birth: San Fransisco Atlantida, Honduras
The immigration officer and the Army Finance and are asking me for the case number or if you have recived the papers. If the papers are lost just let me know so I can do a new petition here in Honduras. I'm legally married by the of state Georgia but for the ARMY I'm single because, I can not enroll her into the Army system due to the fact that she does not have a SSN or somthing similar... read complete review

We had out AOS interview on 09/08/08. Our interview was scheduled for 11 am. We arrived at 10.45am, checked in on the second floor. We told the lady at the check in desk thet we were waiting for our attorney and she instructed us to have a seat until our attorney arrived. Our attorney arrived 10 mins later and she handed in our interview notice. We were called for our interview at 11.05 by our interviewer. She brought us to her office and proceeded to swear us in and asked our attorney for her credentials. There was another lady in the room observing the interview, maybe a trainee but we weren't sure.
To start with the officer asked for our ids and our original birthcerts etc. Then she took out our file, which contained all the forms and applications we had sent in. She started with my wife, going through her G-325A asking her basic questions - full name, dob, parents' names, addresses etc. (Make sure to read over all the forms that you sent in before interview. Catherine, my w... read complete review

I just received my work authorization card July 12th and my interview is August 19th. I've called the CIS office once or twice by this time and they were very helpful and friendly.

Went for my interview with my husband on April 7, 2008. Appt was at 9.59, we went in at about 10.30. Interviewer was very nice. She went through some basic questions - Address, SSN, basic info from the I 485. Asked some medical questions - history of alcohol abuse or mental illness in the family, then asked if I support terrorism, ever been arrested... Asked my husband about his job, how we met, if he had been married before etc. Asked to see docs showing a shared lide - kept copies of our life insurance policies showing each other as the beneficiary, and the copies of the car docs showing joint ownership. She asked to see photos and kept a couple of our wedding which went into our file. Basically that was it, the only problem was that the doctor I went to hadn't completed my medical correctly, so I had to go back and get that sorted out.... sent the docs and on 4/18/08 received my welcome to the US letter.... received my conditional green card on 5/3/08. All in all, the interview ... read complete review
