The interview started exactly at the scheduled time. The immigration officer was very polite, professional, friendly and made us feel comfortable.

It's been a while since we did this interview, but as I remember, the wait wasn't particularly long. When we were called back, the officer asked us the standard questions, then asked if we had anything to add to the file. We had a bank account and some pictures. The pictures were rejected since we had already submitted a ridiculous number of them. After that, smooth sailing and we were approved.

One funny thing - my wife had a plane ticket to visit her family... FOR THE NEXT DAY! We had purchased it without knowing when our interview would be. I asked for an I-551 stamp, and we did receive it, but sure got a funny look when we told him when the flight was.

Our appointment was in Mount Laurel - not Cherry Hill - but that is not given as an option.

Interviewer couldn't have been nicer. two thumbs up!

|||This is for the Mt. Laurel office!||| There is a small waiting room (with a flat screen tv!) and it is not very crowded. While we waited I spotted about 6-7 different IOs only 2 of which were female. I interviewed with Donald Stepp, and it was very straightforward. He had a few questions about some of the evidence included with our application (pictures/letters) and I had a few questions (my 765 hadn't been touched in two months!). Then he went through some things on the computer, asked me all the 485 "no" questions, and since I still needed to apply for SSN he went ahead and stamped my passport. He printed out the info on removing conditions and we were on our way!

Appointment was NOT Cherry Hill, but at the Mount Laurel, NJ office at 530 Fellowship Road. (Mount Laurel is not in the drop down menu).

The appointment was at 10 and we left our home just 7 miles away at 9:10 to ensure we'd be on time. Good thing we did. Something (no one yet knows what) happened to the 1993 BMW 325i as we were proceeding at speed on 73North. Their was a sound like a tire blowing, then a slow-motion 360 spin until a sudden stop onto the curb. No one was hurt only understandably shaken. We grabbed a cab, my Mom stayed with the car to cal a wrecker, and off we went to our appointment just a mile more down the road.

We arrived on time and did not have to wait. The entire interview took about 20 minutes.

Our interviewer was a lovely, well-dressed woman who never gave us her name so we'll call her Ann. She led us to the back, administered and oath to tell the truth, and we sat. She didn't ask a lot of questions. The standard 'a... read complete review
