Review Topic: General Review

My lawyer had filed the application after I FIRED HIM so there were two equal AOS packages inside the system and they issued me two different Alien numbers.
The 'officer' over the 1-800 line told me to make an infopass appt so I did.
I scheduled the fist day and time available... a 23rd at 7:45sm. It was 18th when I scheduled it. We showed up around 7:20 and people were in line outside the Fallon Federal bldg... visitors door doesn't open until 7:30. We walked in, checked in w/ the security guard and proceeded to around the corner of room 101 where one more officer reviewed the appt. letter and realized we were the first appt of the day -- she let us into the room. It was empty so we walked up to window 1 and talked to the lady. Showed my ID, the letter and printed out a ticket number. About 5 minutes later an officer came up to window 3 and called our number. We told her about the problem we had and SHE APOLOGIZED for having us come all the way here for something a rep c... read complete review

Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

Hello,
We had out initial interview on September 2 at 2.00pm, we were there at 1.45pm. THe lady was professional. She greeted us and asked us our names, she wanted to see our drivers' license. And if we had anything showing both our names which we gave. She went to make copies and then came back shortly. I asked if she wanted to see any pictures and she said no. Instead she said everything looked great and that the card would go into production after her supervisor reviews it. After 4 months of waiting, we called the 1-800# and was told to schedule an info pass. We went for the info pass and we were told that we would like be called in for a second interview that was yet to be scheduled. Why do they have to be difficult?

Review Topic: Naturalization

I went there several times when i Citizenship was taking forever. The customer service officers are of no help. When i went for my naturalization ceremony, it was very nice no problem. Very easy to get an infopass appointment there too. Overall, i would say it was okay.

2nd Interview(or stokes interview)
we got there about 5 mins late and waited for about 20 minutes.we were called in together at first and sworn in then i was escorted back out to the waiting room while my husband was questioned. I waited nervously in the waiting room palms sweating. The conversations of the other people in the waiting room was scaring the hell out of me. One old guy, a lawyer said to one men if they had his wife in their for 40 minutes he should be very worried, so I nervously kept looking at the time to see how long my husband had been kept in there. After about 20 minutes, he came out, walked past me and sat down. The immigration officer then called me back into his office he reminded me that I was under oath and told me to sit down so he could check his camera. The questions he asked were that difficult, just things like who lives in your house, how many rooms in your house, what was the last fun thing you do together, who was at your wedding, from what... read complete review

Very easy interview. She asked us a couple of questions (how we meet; asked to see joint ownership proof - tax return/utility bill) and gave conditional approval pending name check. Only took 5 minutes.
