I would have to commend the security at the office for coming to aid of those who had small children with them on April 12th. It was extremely cold and the line was extremely long.
The staff was pleasant enough and the entire experience was moved pretty seamless.
It would have been nice they could approve or deny you on the stop to eliminate the nerve racking waiting process after the interview is completed.

We got there about an hour beforehand and waited untill my name was called. The officer lady invited us in the room and started with complementing my hubby on his awesome toe shoes! We chatted about that a bit. She did the oath thing and asked the questions about the forms- address, dob, etc.
Then she asked us how we met and how we decided to get married and we rumbled on a little about our story. She was amused about our love for Star Wars and giggled a little with us about that. Anyways, she didn't really ask anything else. We were a little dissapointed- the photoalbum and all the evidence that we brought wasnt even needed. So we made her to look through our pics anyway. She laughed with us and said she us reccomending us for apporval and I will get my green card in the mail!

This website has been such a help to me during my process that I thought I’d post my interview experience here. I had my interview at 8.30am on July 7, 2011 at the Baltimore office and we arrived 20 minutes before our appointment. We were called in at 8.35 am. The IO swore us in and she started asking basic questions. She was verifying the information we submitted. To my husband: What is your wife’s name, her D.O.B, Where you live, where she works, when did you guys meet etc. She asked the same questions of me.
Throughout the process the IO was very friendly. We shared a few laughs throughout the interview. At the end of the interview, she took my EAD card and made a copy of it. She told us we would a decision in 30-40days. The next day I checked the USCIS website and my card was ordered.

We got to the office 15 minutes late for our 10:00 AM appointment. Not a great start, but as frazzled as I was, the reception where I handed in my appointment notice said, no problem, not to worry. The office was busy, we waiting approx 20 minutes to be called. The Officer was very professional and pleasant. I came armed with all copies, documents, etc. as required. The only thing she asked us for were some bills and pictures. She looked at our wedding pictures, shared with us about her upcoming wedding and asked us how we liked getting married on the Beach. Most questions she asked were straight off the application: birthdays ( my husband got mine wrong) where did we meet, how many kids we have, etc. At the end, she didn't give us a definite answer, but lead us to beleive that we would be approved. She said, it will be a couple of weeks at the latest, and that they had to run some final security checks.
4 days later, I received a call from her stating that my f... read complete review
