This is my interview experience:
Interview was scheduled for 9:30am today, but we didn't get called until 10:15am. No problem, they had TVs showing CNN. We were a bit worried because we were a young couple, and my wife had to transfer to a school in Missouri, and I had just graduated and was moving to ATL for work, so we didn't share the same address. Also, we just got married last May, so we didn't have any assets in our name apart from joint checking and savings accounts.
After swearing us in, she asked us the usual questions (arrests, communist, prositution etc), then took a look through our photo album that we had placed on the table (we had all the pictures in chronological order with notes under each describing date/place/people). Next, she scanned through the documents, asked us if we had any more supporting evidence, and we provided her with the joint bank statements, place tickets and phone bills with calls between us highlighted. The Officer we had was extremely professional and very nice.
We wasnt harrased nor did he try to intimidate us at all.
After being sworn in my husband was asked the usually question and he only asked for our license. his passport and tax document for 2006. Be honest and relax. All will go well.

our IO was AWESOME! the first thing she did was talk about liscence and passport photos and how bad they are, we were all just laughing lol. she really broke the ice and made us very comfortable! her name was Ms Blair so if you get her, dont worry, shes nice! she was totally cool about us not having lots of stuff in both our names since john doesnt have his SS# yet and was glad with the few things we had. she looked thru my entire wedding album and comment on how much she loved my dress! i had another stack of pics that she looked thru and she was very sad that i didnt bring any pics of men in kilts from scotland she kept joking about her love for men in kilts and wants us to think of her when we go back to visit! and when she went thru and was asking john all the "are you a terrorist, have you been a communist" stuff, she asked if he had ever been a prostitute (LMAO!) and if he had participated in prostitution trafficking, and NO LIE, she literally said "in other words, have you eve... read complete review

Arrived at the USCIS at around 9.45 and through security up to the third floor, handed in our interview notice and took a seat.
Officer: Mrs F...
Me: yes
Officer: any reason why you are late today?
Me: pardon?
Officer: any reason why you are late this morning?

So off to a shaky start with the officer to start with.
After an hour of me poking the husband in the arm for not realising time difference (something I would never have thought o... read complete review
