Our interview was at 7.15am. We arrived just a couple minutes before, there was a line of about 8 people in front of us. First we had to go through 'security' (xray machine) with the usual burly and unfriendly security folks, and show our IDs.
Then we went to a desk who checked our letters and IDs and syamped it and gave us a ticket print out with a number on, then told us to go upstairs.
After about 45 mins approx our number was called and we went into an office with an interviewer. She was ok, very poker face, slightly intimidating but not as scary as I had thought.
She asked very basic questions, wedding date, where do we work and live. That was about it. The only issue that arose was about my previous J1 visa, but that was rectified easily as I had all the appropriate paperwork etc.
She didnt ask any relationship or family questions, didnt even ask for wedding photos or evidence of us living together, she just flicked through the file she had to get our... read complete review

Biometrics interview and processing went great! We arrived in Atlanta the night before to "put eyes on" the ASC using our Tom Tom GPS. Then we stayed in a hotel about 10 miles from the ACS... arrived an hour early and went right through the process. The guard said we could've been late as long as we were there before 3 PM.

it went great! the girel was nice, but was right to the point. we were missing some documents (we needed to prove that we had more ties than we had with us, so we had to get a bank statement that he bought me a car) and his final divorce paper. but she let us come back later on the same day then approved us on the spot!

Went for our AOS Interview on October 28, 2010. Our appointment time was 8am. We were called at about 8:10am. Was VERY nervous as expected. Even tho you do things correctly and are legitimately married its still nerve wracking. Anyway, our IO was so funny and cool. His name was Tom Lawyer. Don't get me wrong when he asked the serious questions he was very serious and intimidating but other than that he knew we were good to go. We have a son together so his birth certificate was the only evidence he wanted as proof of bona fide marriage. He didn't ask to see any of our pics or other documents. He told stories and made us all feel so comfortable. It was a WONDERFUL way to end this LONG process. I will never forget Mr. Tom Lawyer.
