Approximately 6 months after my husband received his work permit; we received an schedule interview. We had to drive 4 hrs to the office; therefore, we arrived very early.
I was 37.5 weeks pregnant, (Can you imagine the walking after the ride,Lol). The security officers were very welcoming; they send me around to be pat down. My husband went thru the scanner (it was similar to the airport security).
We check in at the reception area approximately 45 minutes prior to our interview, the ladies direct us to the 3rd floor (informed us the window will not open until 30 minutes after the hour; then we can check in early. We wait approx 15 mins, he check in bc I was busy in and out the restroom.
After waiting for additional 10 minutes, an officer came got us for the interview. She greeted us with a warm southern smile; she had us to raise our right hand to tell the truth.
The Interview (less than 20 minutes)

The interview was set for 1pm and there was quite a wait to see our worker. At first they seemed stand offish but shortly after it started the tension fell away. They asked my husband when my birthday was. Asked how we first met. They did not ask a whole lot of questions to be honest. They did ask for some extra paperwork I did not have when I sent off my paperwork.
They did not ask for photos or any extra evidence even though we had them ready. This lasted a whole 10 minutes I would say. They took a copy of my passport and ID. I was not approved in the interview. She said she did not see an issue and I should hear shortly about my status. I was emailed when I was leaving saying that I was approved for me green card.
My only advice is be open and honest. Do not go in thinking the worst.

The officer didn't smile all through the interview. She asked straight forward questions. She didn't tell us about removal of condition. Myself and my husband were very neutral. I am an extremely romantic person and I couldn't hide it even in front of the officer.
